We are officially back in KC. We arrived on Monday, but we are now officially back because we have slept in our own bed for two nights and erased all the horrible memories of the prison mattress we slept on for 3 weeks. We had a fantastic time in Florida, as usual. The kids were great, the show turned out awesome and the beer was plentiful. It’s hard to come back to real life after getting paid to be creative every day, squirrel around like a 14 year-old boy and spend time with some of your best pals, but I am trying.
Tonight we picked up Joe from the airport and saw Transformers. It was…eh. I love blockbuster action movies, and I NEVER have the expectation that the dialogue will be good or the plot will make sense or anything like that, but this movie was kind of…boring. Tons of CGI and the robots all sort of looked the same so I had a hard time keeping track of them and whether they were good or bad.
